all_my_fandoms suggested, "a 'first aid' challenge. It can be about physical first aid (what's part of the mandatory 'first aid' style training for someone on Atlantis anyway? 'Make sure the subject is out of Wraith range...'?), the medical side of Atlantis [nb--Ronon's wife was a doctor, remember *g*], various team mates providing it for each other in various situations, on missions and on Atlantis (some emergencies you'd rather take to a friend than a doctor?) and it can be about emotional "first aid", god knows everyone needs different kinds of THAT."
As someone who loves h/c of almost any variety, I say BRING. IT. ON.
Today is June 19th; stories will be due July 3rd at midnight eastern.

Date: 2008-06-20 05:16 am (UTC)it seems basic enough that it probably has been brought up, but just in case it hasn't:
what about a "Memories" challenge? Good memories? Bad Memories? Losing one's memory? Bad memories *about* losing one's memory O.o?
puts on the list

ADMIN
Date: 2008-06-21 12:05 am (UTC)2) The main rule is "exclusivity"--sga_flashfic gets the story posted here and only here for the duration of the challenge, meaning you announce the story here and all comments should go here. Once the challenge is closed, you can crosspost the story to your own LJ or to another archive or community (though NOT to sga_noticeboard, on the grounds that it would be annoying if everyone posted there after posting here.)
3) There are no restrictions, other than the story should be recognizably a response to the challenge subject (though it can be a clever one; making a six year old Rodney the first Aide of a nursing home or something. *G*) You can write slash, het, gen, whatever ratings or whatever; also we don't require warnings, though you may wish to warn.
4) I never yell at anybody unless they post outside a cut tag. *G* (You should always post your story under a cut tag!) Or if you crosspost your story (see point #2) I might come and delete it because of exclusivity rule.
5) You don't have to ask before posting--post away!--and the only required thing is to post "Title of the Story, by Writer" in the subject line. Many of our writers do use a template like:
Title: Story Title
Author: Story Author
Pairing: Sheppard/Teyla
but you totally don't have to.
Hope that helps!
