O’Neill grunted sympathetically. “Maybe you can do something with him when you get to Atlantis.”
“Do what?”
“I don’t know. Fix him maybe.”
“None of his other COs have been able to do a damn thing.”
“Yeah, but none of his other COs have been able to get him out of the galaxy before.” Sumner started to say something else, but O’Neill talked over him. “I know Sheppard’s a by-the-book pain in the ass, but I have faith in your ability to get him to loosen up a little.”
