audiobook version thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wintercreek!

A new story, only on podfic; text to be posted in a month or so, probably.

Would you like an audiobook copy? I'll be converting it for my use anyway, so I can upload an m4b if you'd like.

that's great, thank you! I really think toft's reading adds to the creepy at least tenfold. :)

Possibly. She has the right voice for this kind of story.

Seconded, it is creepy and wonderful! The slow reveal is perfectly chilling, and your reading is superb, and, I admit, it's so creepy that I only listened to it twice - like TWW's reading of your "All these places", it hurts too much for me to listen to it "easily" (I still owe her feedback on that podfic, you know? But the truth is it hurts SO MUCH that I listen to the first... half hour and then stop and move on to something else not to get hurt. *wimp*)

aw, that's wonderful, thank you! I am sorry to be producing podfic that hurts you so much (if I do one more like that, it'll be a trademark!) but I'm so glad that the reveal works for you and that you braved your way through it twice even though you proclaim yourself a wimp. :)

also, thank you for the lovely things you said about my reading of toft's fic - I'm very proud of it. storytelling about storytelling yay!

Yargh. And I mean that in a good way. This story packs a serious punch, and I love the way that the cuddly "normalcy" at the beginning slowly unravels, and how, like John, we can't quite tell what is dream and what is reality.

what a beautiful thing to say, thank you. that's exactly exactly the feeling I was hoping for, the slow unraveling of the cuddly sunday-morning fic into a whole nother genre (and toft's reading really helps with that feeling, I think). I'm so glad you liked it! :)
