Summary: "What were you going to do? Bounce at the thing attacking me?”

“Major?”

“Yes Rodney?”

“You know, when you said 'bungee jumping', this isn't exactly what I had in mind.”

“We bungeed! We jumped...”

“Yes Major. Very astute of you. I can't help but feel you might be forgetting something however...”

“... it's part of the fun.”

“Oh of course it is. Why, oh why did I say yes? I should be inside, in my lab working on something Atlantis shattering-”

“Atlantis shattering?”

“Well I could hardly say 'Earth Shattering' could I?”

“Point.”

“Anyway, as I was saying. I could be inside nice and safe instead of here!”

“...”

“Oh for the love of – don't pout!”

“I thought you would like bungee jumping...”

“Oh yes Major, because I love adrenalin and certain death oh so much.”

“Bungee jumping is perfectly safe. We had the jumper, the right type of rope and the sea.”

“You didn't think that we should have brought someone to pull us back up?”

“... Neither did you!”

“Because I didn't think you would be dumb enough to jump out as well!”

“You were screaming like a girl, I thought something was wrong!”

“I'm sorry Major, how stupid of me. I shall give myself a good telling off for screaming as some lunatic pushed me out of a jumper hovering thousands of feet over the sea. And if something was wrong, how did you think jumping out as well would help? What were you going to do? Bounce at the thing attacking me?”

“Hey, I can see my house from here.”

“... Major, you can see Atlantis from here. Not your house.”

“Atlantis is home. Therefore, house. I wonder if Dr. Weir can see us from here... maybe we should wave.”

“I'm going to die hanging upside down with just a moron for company... Mother always said I would go like this.”

“Really?”

“No, not really.”

“Oh.”

“Major... if I ask what are you doing, will I regret it?”

“I'm trying to use sign language to communicate with Atlantis.”

“I see. A simple 'yes' would have worked just as well. Has the blood rushed to your little brain already?”

“Shush, I'm trying to remember how to sign; 'whiny scientist ok'. Ow!”

“My hand slipped.”

“It's not very nice to hit people Rodney.”

“It's not very nice to push people out of moving puddle jumpers either.”

“You wouldn't jump!”

“The complete and utter lack of faith I have in your ability to avoid trouble could have been the reason and hey, proved right.”

“I get out of trouble well.”

“No, someone saves us. Rather like that jumper flying towards us now. Or would you rather go bungee jumping again? We'll leave you to it if you like.”

“Funny.”
