Title: Pictures for Jeannie
Author: [livejournal.com profile] friendshipper
Word Count: n/a (pictures)
Rating: rated G, and gen
Spoilers: mild ones for McKay & Mrs Miller, Return
Summary: Teyla wants to share her galaxy with Jeannie through photographs. The boys want to get hit with large sticks, apparently.

Notes: This is a sequel to my earlier story Postcards to Jeannie. If you haven't read that one, all you really need to know is that Jeannie and Teyla become pen pals post-M&MM.

Because this story is so image intensive, it begins here at sga_flashfic and then continues offsite, to avoid overloading people's browsers.

Oh, this is wonderful. I love Teyla's grace and quiet humor and John and Rodney's bickering but, I have to say, it was Ronon's sketches that stole the show. Loved that!

Oh, how wonderful is this?! I absolutely loved everything about it--Teyla's insights into the different planets, John and Rodney's back-and-forth (and Teyla tolerating it *g*) and Ronon's sketches. Lovely lovely :)

beautifully done! I loved Ronon's drawings in particular -- I can totally see him doodling away and nobody really noticing.

Oh this is amazing.

As was said above, I love the way you wrote Teyla's voice. It was just so, Teyla. Serious, but at the same time had her sense of humour when she is laughing at her teammates which we usually get from the looks she gives on the show.

John & Rodney were just, so John & Rodney, what can you say? But Ronon's contributions were. Surprising but not surprising? It was a great addition.

Also I really loved the way Jeannie re-acted to the package at first, I wasn't expecting it. But it was lovely. That and, just the fact that Rodney hadn't even called. At first it's a question of, they're talking again why hasn't he, but he would've been so caught up in everything.

Also, that's your driveway? Colour me jealous.

Anyways, I really enjoyed this if you couldn't tell.

That was really amazing. Teyla was so patient. I can only wonder how she manages. This was really beautifully composed. What I loved most were Ronon's drawings.

Oooh, I'm sooo jealous!! *grins*

Seriously, this is fantastic! I love the bickering, the photos, the drawings, the ending - all of it! Thank you for doing a sequel to 'Postcards' - here's hoping for more in the future!

Oh, how gorgeous!

I loved all the pics you used (I can't believe that purple plant is real), and the small drawings - especially the one with Atlantis and the whales.

THe sweetness that runs though all of this, especially the silent Ronon, is just so...I need a word that means happy-bursty feeling. But that.

oh, it's just as beautiful and amazing as your first effort. Isn't it interesting how so many places on Earth look so UnEarthly....

I loved Ronon's little drawings, and how he never actually wrote anything.

great answer to the challenge!

Oh wow....so utterly awesome and funny and heartbreakingly bittersweet at the same time. Please have another in this series? I love Teyla's wry they-annoy-me-but-I-will-desist-from-smiting-them-because-I-love-them voice, and Jon and Rodney squabbling and Ronon DRAWING which is the best quirk anyone has ever given his character yet :D

No more Athosian tea!? Poor Jeannie. These two stories had a beautiful arc and were a joy to read, if a little bittersweet at the end. But ah, c'est la vie, no? Thanks for the great read, and the pictures.

I absolutely loved the first one you did and this one was just as awesome! The pages are absolutely beautiful and so well put together! I can't imagine how long it took you to do this or even how you did it. My favourite part about both stories is the little things that the guys put in that makes it seem like they are there with Teyla, telling their story to Jeannie. Wonderfully done and thanks for sharing!

Absolutely fantastic. Again. This and Postcards to Jeannie are both so amazingly well done. The photographs are not only gorgeous, but well-chosen, and the scribblings of the team add so much, too. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
