Notes: This is a sequel to my earlier story Postcards to Jeannie. If you haven't read that one, all you really need to know is that Jeannie and Teyla become pen pals post-M&MM.

Oh, this is wonderful. I love Teyla's grace and quiet humor and John and Rodney's bickering but, I have to say, it was Ronon's sketches that stole the show. Loved that!

I've been wanting to do a sequel to "Postcards" for some time, but had trouble coming up with an idea, until this challenge knocked something loose.

It took me awhile to come up with a way for Ronon to contribute, because I didn't think he'd be writing comments on the pages in John and Rodney fashion. Now I want to write more about his latent art talent. *g*

Oh, how wonderful is this?! I absolutely loved everything about it--Teyla's insights into the different planets, John and Rodney's back-and-forth (and Teyla tolerating it *g*) and Ronon's sketches. Lovely lovely :)

Oh, thank you! I so enjoyed doing their different viewpoints, and I can just imagine Teyla's eyerolls as they keep grabbing her pages and scribbling stuff on them -- I sort of imagine that they had this all spread out at a table in the cafeteria or one of the lounges.

Thank you so much! Yep, that's exactly my mental image with Ronon, too. And now I'm thinking about him carrying a sketchbook around on missions (or having stolen a field notebook from Rodney, or something) and everyone's like, "Uh, how long have you had that, anyway?" and he just gives them a LOOK and goes on sketching...

Oh this is amazing.

As was said above, I love the way you wrote Teyla's voice. It was just so, Teyla. Serious, but at the same time had her sense of humour when she is laughing at her teammates which we usually get from the looks she gives on the show.

John & Rodney were just, so John & Rodney, what can you say? But Ronon's contributions were. Surprising but not surprising? It was a great addition.

Also I really loved the way Jeannie re-acted to the package at first, I wasn't expecting it. But it was lovely. That and, just the fact that Rodney hadn't even called. At first it's a question of, they're talking again why hasn't he, but he would've been so caught up in everything.

Also, that's your driveway? Colour me jealous.

Anyways, I really enjoyed this if you couldn't tell.

Thank you so much! I love Teyla's little eyerolls when the rest of her team start acting like juvenile delinquints -- the exasperation combined with tolerant fondness. (And I can just imagine her sitting in the cafeteria or the lounge, trying to work on her scrapbook while the boys keep stealing her pages and scribbling on them!)

Yeah, I'm thinking that Rodney would have taken awhile to get back in touch with Jeannie on Earth, because he's just so ... so Rodney, and he'd probably wait around for her to call even though she didn't even know he was back. But I figure that eventually they would have gotten in touch.

Thank you so much! And, yes, it's really surprising how many places on Earth can stand in quite easily for alien worlds. I noticed that when I was doing the original Postcards story, and actually a couple of these photos were contenders for being used on postcards, but never made it into that one.

Oh wow....so utterly awesome and funny and heartbreakingly bittersweet at the same time. Please have another in this series? I absolutely loved the first one you did and this one was just as awesome! The pages are absolutely beautiful and so well put together! I can't imagine how long it took you to do this or even how you did it. My favourite part about both stories is the little things that the guys put in that makes it seem like they are there with Teyla, telling their story to Jeannie.
