I have a system now. So I keep meaning to go back and redo my earlier tags. Unfortunately my bookmarks are running into the hundreds now! (then again, Dossier has crossed that 7000+ line. I think that gets you a prize or something...)

I've decided people know a bunch of friendly planets that they favor for trade, whose addresses get passed down through the generations. And maybe they'll share them with their friends. And sometime when there's been a bad culling, maybe some addresses are lost or forgotten, until one of their people goes off world and starts the cycle anew... All they really have is their memories, because I doubt they'd have written them down, if they even have writing... but that explanation wouldn't have been nearly as funny for this challenge ;).
