Summary: Rodney finds something he really doesn't like.

Notes: Written for the Flashfic challenge "Not Dead Yet," though after this one, I kinda wish I was. God bless kimberlyfdr, amireal and ailurophile6 for their help on this... thing. It was supposed to get me past The Block From Hell and instead it almost melted me down. They're the reason if it's readable at all.

Oh that's just brilliant. Am I wrong to find a homicidal Rodney extremely hot? I'd so love to see that on the show. Rodney pissed off to the point of just throwing everything in sight at John.

That was awesome! But then again, everything you write is wonderful, so that's no surprise. John's message was heart breaking and I loved him deciding what to give to whom. It was obvious he spent a lot of time carefully planning out what would happen after his death. The part that nearly made me cry was John saying that Rodney should keep that picture and his tags. And of course, an enraged Rodney and John yelling at each other and then losing track of the fight is always fun. Thanks for sharing!

You're such a love, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the story, it was more difficult to write than I expected, for some damn reason, so it's lovely to know it worked. Except that even in canon they sound like an old married couple, so to write them fighting is pretty easy. Mostly. ;-)

Oh, I hope it helped with the muse, because I love your stories, and this was no exception. I loved how it looked like John was dead in the beginning. I kept saying to myself 'not dead yet,' 'not dead yet.' And then he wasn't dead anymore! Your John and Rodney dialogue was so funny, it had me rolling on the floor laughing. And their getting together in the end was just so them! Wonderful fic.

And I just wanted to let you know that I was inspired by your fic (and the James T line in this fic). I don't think there's any other similarities (except in the John's-dead-until-he's-not vein), but I just wanted you to know that you inpsired my muse, too ;-)

Awesome! I was getting emotional with John bequeathing his worldly possessions, thinking he can't be dead. Love Rodney's reaction, the purple face, throwing mugs and the "fucking for four years" comment. John, caught completely off guard, going into military position, ie behind the bed was funny, along with simultaneous reactions of anger at the hacking and "What" excitement at Rodney's slip of the tongue. Very hot, finally shutting Rodney up and ending up on the floor stuck together. The ending though was the best - hee, cheat codes for the video golf game. Love it! You are a genius.

Oooh, awesome! I loved the throwing stuff and then putting the picture down exactly where it had been - that was a really good moment, very well set up, because Rodney had just been told that that was the souvenir of the third best day of John's life and he didn't want to trash that. Nice work.

I heart this so much and the tone and the challenge made me sure it was not a death fic, and then Rodney storming into John's room and he was there reading a comic and seeing Rodney mad and trying to calm him and then getting what had made Rodney so MAD :)
