Notes: Written for the Flashfic challenge "Not Dead Yet," though after this one, I kinda wish I was. God bless kimberlyfdr, amireal and ailurophile6 for their help on this... thing. It was supposed to get me past The Block From Hell and instead it almost melted me down. They're the reason if it's readable at all.

Oh, I hope it helped with the muse, because I love your stories, and this was no exception. I loved how it looked like John was dead in the beginning. I kept saying to myself 'not dead yet,' 'not dead yet.' And then he wasn't dead anymore! Your John and Rodney dialogue was so funny, it had me rolling on the floor laughing. And their getting together in the end was just so them! Wonderful fic.

And I just wanted to let you know that I was inspired by your fic (and the James T line in this fic). I don't think there's any other similarities (except in the John's-dead-until-he's-not vein), but I just wanted you to know that you inpsired my muse, too ;-)
