Title: Walk By Faith
Author:
scarlet_gryphon
Challenge(s) Amnesty 2008, Fight or flight and/or Secret Superpowers
Pairing: Peter Grodin/ Miko Kusanagi friendship
Rating: PG-13 for language and action sequences
Warnings: A bit of language, but other than that, nothing much.
Length: ~1348 words
Author's Notes: This is my first time delving into the Coyote 'Verse, and I'm very thankful that
irony_rocks has allowed me to play in her sandbox. This was written before Amnesty 2008, but I'm submitting it so A) I get it out there more, and B) I stop procrastinating about finishing my other 'fic I have going for Amnesty 2008. Timeline in the Coyote 'Verse is about two months after the Seabrook spill. No previous knowledge of the 'Verse is needed, though if you want to figure out what the hell's going on, go on over to
coyote_sga and read through the stories. Start with "Genesis", and work your way through. *End shameless plug for new writers and readers*
Disclaimer: No, Mr. Lawyerbot, I don't own any of the recognisable characters. I do, however, own the Bookbag of Doom (TM).
( And I will walk by faith, even when I cannot see... )

-title- In Case of Emergency
-author- Sophonisba (
saphanibaal)
-warnings- Gen. Strong language and some violence. In my head, this is part of my canon-asymptotic AU, but it isn't doing anything alternative in particular here.
-timeframe- Between "Hot Zone" and "Sanctuary."
-spoilers- For "Hot Zone," and... well, it references something that happened in early SG-1, but something that's fairly general knowledge (and I don't know the episode title, anyway).
-characters- AR-1, Miko, Zelenka, Kavanagh, Simpson, Elizabeth, Bates, et al.
-disclaimer- SGA, of course, is not mine.
-word count- 1464
-summary- The emergency failsafes in the Ancient labs are ATA-compliant.
( In the movie, the device appeared to work on the same principle as the Stargate, so I see no reason why it couldn't be equally stolen here. )

Okay, so I'm not sure if this counts for the fight for flight challenge. But hey! He can do both! And I managed to do this in about 38 mintues. From first putting pencil to paper.
Also, drawn for
sardonicsmiley as we were talking about a JLA crossover. All I did was scan this in. I have Paint as the only program for images. *hee*
( So: SuperMcKay )
If anyone can point me in the direction of a better challenge to post this under, please do!! :)

Title: Nature vs. Nurture
Author: Gemmi999
Challenge: Flight or Fight
Characters: Ronon, Sheppard
Rating: PG
Words: 600ish
Author's Notes: So much of Season three is questionable, from an ethical point-of-view. From a humanitarian point-of-view. I wrote this because I want to begin to talk about the problems that are arising in the Atlantis community, and see if other people who watch the show are wondering about them as well.
Spoilers: Post-ep for Common Ground
Summery: There are things you don’t know about Wraith.
